Sunhaze — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 October 2026

Sunhaze is an offline, single-player game by Joachim Huveneers. This policy describes the current game and how to contact its developer about privacy.

Data in the game

Sunhaze does not require an account. The game does not send your personal information or gameplay progress to the developer. It contains no advertising, tracking or third-party analytics SDK. It does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts or location.

Saved progress and settings

Your journey and settings are stored locally on your device so you can continue playing. The developer cannot access these files remotely. Deleting the app removes its local app data; copies may remain in device backups controlled by you and your operating system. Sunhaze does not provide its own cloud-save service.

Support messages

If you email joachimhuveneers@gmail.com, the developer receives your email address and whatever information you choose to include. This is used to respond to your request and resolve the issue, based on the legitimate interest of providing support. Please do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information. Support correspondence is kept only as needed to handle the request, related follow-up or legal obligations. Email providers process messages to deliver and store correspondence.

Apple and this website

Apple may process purchase, diagnostic or device information under its own privacy settings and policy. This is separate from data collected by Sunhaze. Visiting this Wix-hosted website or using its contact/chat features is also separate from playing the offline game: website hosting, cookies, analytics and messages may involve website data processing. The game’s no-tracking statement does not describe the entire website.

Your choices and rights

Contact joachimhuveneers@gmail.com for privacy questions or to request access, correction or deletion of information you sent to the developer. Depending on applicable law, you may also request restriction or portability, object to processing, or complain to your local data protection authority. The developer cannot retrieve or erase your device’s local saved game remotely.

Changes

This policy will be updated if the game’s data practices change. The date above identifies the current policy.
