Privacy Policy for John Barista
Effective date: 30 August 2026
John Barista is playable without creating an account and without advertising or analytics.
Information collected by the developer
The developer does not collect, store, sell or share personal information through John Barista. The app does not include advertising, analytics, tracking or third-party account systems.
Game progress, settings and local records are stored on the player’s device. They are not sent to the developer.
Game Center
John Barista offers an optional Apple Game Center leaderboard. If a player chooses to use Game Center, authentication and the Game Center profile are managed by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy. The app submits the player’s best number of qualifying drinks completed during one shift, together with the in-game day of that record. The developer does not operate a separate server for this data.
Players can use the game without Game Center. A local record remains available on the device.
Purchases
John Barista uses Apple’s In-App Purchase system for a permanent full-game unlock and optional cosmetic café interiors. Apple processes transactions. The developer does not receive or store payment-card details. The app reads purchase entitlements from StoreKit so previous non-consumable purchases can be restored.
There is no purchasable virtual currency, subscription, advertising or paid gameplay advantage.
Children’s privacy
John Barista does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other players.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if the app’s data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will identify the latest version.
